David Curtis ATT(Fellow)
David’s tax career started in 1991 working for the Inland Revenue. When Self-Assessment was introduced in 1997, he moved to working for accountancy practices including local and regional independent firms and until 2007 with a leading national top ten company before he started his own practice in 2008, trading as Derbyshire Tax Services. He has advised on a wide range of issues from helping small owner-managed businesses through to high net-worth entrepreneurs.
David is registered with the Association of Taxation Technicians as a Practising Member http://www.att.org.uk/
Robert Wood BA (Hons) ACA
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1989, Robert spent the next 16 years advising large and small businesses within a number of Big 4 and larger regional accountancy firms. In 2006 he became a director and company secretary for a small group of companies which gave him valuable experience in the day to day operations of a commercial enterprise and a useful insight into what a business needs from its professional advisers. Following the reorganisation of the group in 2011, he returned to private practice and continues to advise clients on a wide range of accounting and tax matters.
Thomas Curtis ACCA MAAT
Tom qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2022 after previously achieving the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification in 2017. He is responsible for the preparation of accounts, VAT Returns and Tax Returns and advising clients on all related matters.
Tom is a lifelong Derby County supporter.
Lindsay Adams AAT
Lindsay attained her AAT qualification in 2001. She has worked in many aspects of accounts for over 30 years and is responsible for preparing accounts, VAT returns, CIS returns and also for giving advice to clients regarding their accounting procedures.
Rebecca joined the firm in 2021 and is currently studying towards achieving the AAT level 4 qualification. Her main duties include bookkeeping and running payroll services for clients.
